"PRESS WEEK" IN AUCKLAND.
PROPRIETORS MEET TONIGHT.
A large number of pressmen are now in Auckland in connection with the annual gatherings which are to be held this week. The annual conference of tho directors of tho United Press Association was continued on Saturday morning, and will resume this morning. Tho annual meeting of the shareholders of the association is fiaed for Wednesday afternoon. The annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association will be held in the Chamber of Commerce to-night. Mr. P. Selig (Cliristchurch Press), the president of the association, is to preside. The annual meeting of the Master Printers' Association is to take place on Friday next, while the New Zealand branch of tho Empire Press Union, of which Mr. G. Fen wick (Otago Daily , Times) is president, is fixed for Wednes- ' day at noon. ™
