A FLAG FROM SCOTLAND.
SENT TO A WELLINGTON SCHOOL. [by, telegraph.PßESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sunday. At Roseneath School, on Saturday, Lady Liverpool uniurlt-d a Scottish standard, sent out by the children of Roseneath. school, near Glasgow, in return for a New Zealand flag, forwarded Home by the local scholars some fcnc Three or four hundred people attended, including the Hons. H. D. Bell and R. H. Rhodes, Major-General Godley, and the Mayor (Mr. McLaren). Lord Liverpool read a message from the Duchess of Argyll on behalf of the children of the Scottish Roseneath School, and gave an address on the meaning of the flag as a symbol of loyalty and affection between the people in these far lands and those of the Home Country.
