It began on his scalp like a dry crust, and each time ho was -washed the scales camo off, and it ran, wept, and spread. In this way it covered his head, eyebrows, and ears, also in places on his body, so that really from top to toe he was one mass of eczema, and neighbours used to say what a terrible sight ho looked, especially with his head uncovered.
