■ - ■ ■ [BT TKWOBAPH.—OWST CORRESPONDENT.] Hamiltox, Friday. ■ AT the meeting of the V/uiUato County Council this morning it was decided to contribute 25 per cent, of the coat of maintenance of the Hamilton Bridge, which was tiio proportion allocated by the commission. In regard to the coat of construction, it was reported that the work at Leslie's Gully culvert was progressing satisfactorily, and it was agreed, on the application of : the Kirikiriroa Road Board, to contribute £100 towards the coat oi this Slliag. The clerk was authorised to attach a 10 per cent, penalty to all rate* outstanding after March 14, and authority was also given to sue for rates where ncoessarv Slaughterhouse license;! were issued to G H Wif,:itinis (Uunllv) and H. 0.
