[BY TELEGRArK_ —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] i Hamilton', Friday. Advice was received at a meeting of the : winter show executive, through Mr. J. AYoung, M.P., that Mr. A. M. Myers, ' M.P., would donate two gold medals for . classes for school boys and girls. 'Hie • Prime Minister accepted the invitation to : open the show on June 3 provided other | engagements allowed. The tender of the ; Hamilton municipal gasworks for lighting ; the association's buildings was accepted, provided the council light the horse bazaar effectively. Various amendments in the ; schedule, were approved. Seventeen new j < members were elected, and Messrs- Oliver j 1 and Bennett were appointed to fill vacan « cles on the executive, caused by the resignation of Messrs. Manning and Varney. ,
