BIBLE IN STATE SCHOOLS' LEAGUE.
SPECIAL SUNDAY SERVICES.
The Rev. Canon Garland, organising secretary of the Bible in State Schools' League of New Zealand, is due to arrive from the South by the Main Trunk express this morning. This afternoon Canon Garland will be present at the garden party to bo given in his honour by Mrs. A. C. Caughey, president of the Women's League. To-morrow morning he will preach at St. Paul's Church, and in tho evening at St. Matthew's. In the afternoon ho will give an address to men and women at the Y.M.C.A., Albert-street, and will be present at the strangers' tea. On Monday he will bo the principal speaker at a demonstration in the Auckland Town Hall.
To-morrow is being generally observed throughout the Dominion by the Anglican, . Methodist, and Presbyterian Churches, and the Salvation Armv, as a Bible in State Schools Day."
