FEDERATION MESSAGE DENIED
[BY telegraph.PßESS ASSOCIATION.] TiMAiur, Wednesday. Regarding the waterside workers' strike, union members say that no communication has been received from the Federation Executive. Disengaged waterside. workers held a meeting at Lytt-elton this morning to hear Mr. Gould, secretary of the Timaru Wateraiders' Union, in explanation of the strike there. The meeting carried a resolution approving of the action of the Timaru Union, and urging the Federation of Labour to take the matter in hand.
