Sir,— very few people have any idea ■what ten miles an hour for a motor car really means, and I have had many n™ ' my car who were absolute!? astounded when X purposely dropped down to ten miles ana •who immediately granted that t^ s 7' a V ridiculous speed limit through a wholo dis . trict like Parnell, I now the fol lowing:—Lot a procession of all the motor cars in Auckland bo formed on a certain date at Newmarket, with, the most rare driver that can be found in fron,> ' , " rtructions to keep to ten miles an horn un til Parnell rise is reached, and if that tun oral procession does not bury the famous, by-law then nothing will as the pace w, he roved unreasonable and ridiculous to ail onlookers.
