ADVANCE OF THE GREEKS.

SURRENDER OF PREVEZA. THE INVADERS APPROACHING SALONIKA. ANOTHER POST CAPTURED. TURKS CLAIM A VICTORY. London, November 3. Preveza has capitulated to the Greeks.

After a battle, which lasted all Friday, the Greeks captured Yenidji, 14 miles from Salonika. A report from Athens states that the fifth division of the Greek army, marching on Monastir, whilst encamped near Nalbankoi, repulsed a Turco-Albanian night attack. At dawn they made a counterattack and routed the Turks, who had 200 cavalrymen and 1000 infantry killed, while seven Turkish guns were captured by the Greeks.

Advices from Constantinople, on the other hand, report a Greek .defeat near Vodena, about 20 miles from Salonika. It is alleged that the Greeks were caught between the Salonika Turks and the Monastir force. The reports also assert that the Montenegrins were repulsed at Scutari, with 2000 casualties.
