MEETINGS.

MAR IST FATHERS' MISSION,

The mission by the Marist Fathers—the Very Rev. Father O'Conncll (superior) and Fathers Taylor and McCarthy—which was begun on Sunday in St. Patrick's Cathedral, ■was continued yesterday. Last evening the cathedral was again filled. Throughout this •week and next masses will be celebrated, and instructions given from six a.m. to nine a.m.. and each evening devotions, sermon, and Benediction will take place at 7.30 o'clock This evening the preacher will take " Confession" as his subject. MINISTERS' ASSOCIATION. The monthly meeting of the Ministers' Association was held yesterday afternoon, in the vestry of Knox Church, Farnell. There was a good attendance. Rov. «*• Cocker (president) occupied the chair. Hot. Howard Elliott was '-welcomed on hie return from a prolonged visit to Australia. The report of the committee of the Sailors' Mission was presented by the president, discussed, and adopted, and further instructions given to tho committee. Rev. H. (Steele Craik referred to the need of some arrangement by which the business of the meeting might have moro rapid despatch, and a committee was appointed, consisting of the Revs. "W. Heady, G. B. Monro. J. Cocker, H. Steele Oraik, and Howard Elliott (convener), was appointed to present a, scheme The report of tho Chapman Alexander Mission Committee was received and adopted. A meeting of gentlemen nominated for the committee of management will be held on Friday, to make suitable arrangements, appointing officers, etc. Rev. O. E. Bcocroft read a paper on " Some Outstanding Memories of a Wander- The paper, which was a graphic and beautiful description of the writers travels in many lands, especially in the Holy Land, waa highly appreciated. An adjournment was made to Knox Church manse, where tho members enjoyed the hospitality of the Rev. J. M. and Mrs. Simpson. The December meeting will be held at Mount Zion Birkenhead, when the officers will 'bo eler-tof for the year. wu
