Tho Education Department, Wellington,, announces that tho Commissioners of the Exhibition of 1551 aro offering a scholarship in architecture, tenable for three years at the British School at Rome. The scholarship, which is valued at £200 per annum, is open to all British subjects under tho age of 30 years. The subject of the first, or qualifying examination, will bo announced to candidates in November 6, and the designs must be forwarded to London not later than Jaquary 17 of next year.
