STATE OF THE SUFFERERS. [>Y TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Thursday. Rev. JI. 0. T. Handy, who had his leg broken in tho tram derailment at Taring:* - mulu a fortnight ago, has had to have tlio limb amputated between tho knee and ankle, but otherwise is progressing satisfactorily.
Sirs, and Mies Han by are also in tho Waikato 'Hospital, and are progressing towards recovery.
