Berlin, September 11. TnE Constantinople correspondent of the Deutsche Tages Zeitung states that, the preliminaries to a treaty of peace between Turkey and Italy will be signed in* Switzerland to-day.
At the same time it is stated that the Italian . fleet * has bombarded Scalannova,.. near Smyrna (Asia. Minor).
The war between Italy and Turkey began at the end of September last. Peac~ negotiations between Italian and Turkish diplomats have been proceeding in Switzerland for about a month. . _
