ST. LUKE'S CHURCH.

TEE annual meeting of St. Lute's Tiesbyteiul Church, Heinuera, was held on Wednesday even* ing, and was largely attended. The Kev. G, B. = Monro presided. Tito reports of the session, and the various organisations showed a marked, increase in all departments of work. There are, now 13 elders and 15 members of committee, and(he membership of tho church stands at 237, al* though .i number of certificates of disjunction! have been given to tho recently-formed Somer- • veil congregation. There are five Bible- classes, with, a member-. . sliiij of ICB-53 young women and 65 young mom. The Simdav-scuool has a roll .or 140 children and V! teachers; the Band of Hope 250, Sunday momins Bible class 35, and the " League of WorshipDie- Children" 09.
