WAIHI ROBBERY STORY.
ADMITTED TO BE A FABRICATION. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Waihi, Thursday. The youth, James O'Shea, who created a sensation a . few days ago by announcing that he. had been held up by two men, and robbed while on his way home from a dance, has made a. confession to the police admitting that the statement was a fabrication. O'Shea made up the story to account for the supposed loss of a gold watch.
