SHOOTING SENSATION.
MURDER OF A SHOPKEEPER. ANOTHER SERIOUSLY INJURED NOTED CRIMINAL ARRESTED By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. - New' York, July 30. A shopkeeper named Morris Schwartzkoff was shot to-day, and was so severely wounded that he died shortly after. Another shopkeeper named Maxwell Katz was seriously wounded. Raymond Forbey, alias Clark, a man with a criminal record, is charged with both the crimes. He was captured in a cellar by two policemen at the point of the revolver. • - Both victims identified Forbey as their assailant. . > _... Forbey called at Schwartzkoff's store and had an argument regarding some repairs to a watch. lie shot his victim in the neck, and then called at Katz's cigar store and began shooting. Katz grappled with the man and was wounded three times. Forbey is believed to be concerned with two others in the murder of a man named Walter Meseritz in February last. He gave the name of Walter Brooks, and pleaded not guilty.
