In the Federal House of Representatives to-day Mr. Deakin (Leader of. the Opposition) moved an amendment to the Address-in-Reply to the effect that the Government merits censure for its failure to realise its constitutional obligations, and its flagrant neglect of its duty to secure industrial peace . and good order, maladministration of the Publiji Departments, gross partisan action in regard to appointments, and its reckless irresponsibility in financial affairs.
