While looking on j (hearing 1 was out of '/ the question), one ; could not help wondering if the present lecture rooms are not sufficiently largo to ' enable the lectures to be ; heard by the ; students. The ceremony, was an opportunity • (unfortunately lost) to gain the sympathy of • a largo number of citizens in regard to the ' site and l/ew buildings, which are so badly ' needed, the present buildings 'being a. dis- : grace to the city of Auckland.^ ; Ellerslie.
