A NEW STEAMER.

Sydney, April 26. A steamer for the timber trade on the west coast of the South Island was launched to-day from, the yards of Mr. Davis at Woy Woy, near Sydney. It has been built for a Greymouth company, and is 153 ft long, has 29ft beam, and a depth of 10ft 9in. Is is constructed of hardwood, with Oregon decks. Captain S. Willis supervised the work.
