CHRISTCHURCH FIRE BRIGADE

PALMERSTON North, Friday. Superintendent C. C. Wajweb, in charge of the Palmerston Fire Brigade, has been appointed superintendent of the Christchurch Fire Brigade as successor to Superintendent Erik, who has resigned. There were eleven applicants.
