SOCIALISTS AND RED FLAG.
A MAY DAY INCIDENT. By Telegraph.Press Association.— New York, May 2. During a May Day meeting in Union Square yesterday the Socialists tore down the American flag and hoisted the red flag instead. The crowd howled, " Tear that dirty rag down." The police tried to interfere, but were powerless.
