A VERY LARGE INCREASE.
BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunkdin, Monday. In moving the adoption of the report at the annual meeting of the Standard Insurance Company, the chairman said that one peculiarity about this year's work had the great number of i, dvvellinghouses in the company's loss schedule. This was a thing almost unparalleled, as these risks were generally looked upon as among the best the company could hold. The loss from this source alone amounted to 50 per cent.
