THE THIRD GRADE COMPETITION. Thk third ' grade district championship match between North Shore and Eden A on Saturday resulted in a win for North Shore. North Shore made 153 and 127 (McArthur 48, Colebourno 20, Coleman 18), while Eden A scored 122 and 112, three men short (Rankin 51. Eyre 28, Horspool 15). In Eden A's first innings McKellar took five wickets for 22 runs, and Colebourne four for 29. DRURY V. PUKEKOHK. A match between the Drury anil Pukekoh© B Club*, played at Drury on Saturday, l-eaultcd in a drawn game on the first innings, both teams scoring 77 runs. In Pukekoho'a first innings Vangioni made 25, Dean 16, and D. Roulston 13. The second innings was declared closed with seven wickets down lor 84 (Vaagioni 26, D. Roulston 16, Blake 14). In Drury s first innings Lodge scored 27, Hawkins 15, Brooks 22. The socond innings was abandoned, owing to the light failing. Bowling for Drury, Lodge took seven wickets and MaeOormack four.
