BUSINESS DONE ON SATURDAY
The sharemarkct was quiet on Saturday, business being confined to mining lines. Talisman Consolidated?, were sold at 51a 3d nioio being on offer at that price, with buyers at 51s. Waihiu were easier, with sales at from 40s 6d to 39s 6d to 39s to 39s 3d, further sellers quoting 39s and buyers 33s 3d. Waihi Grand Junctions changed hands ut 27s 6d and 27s 9d, further inquiry being made for shares at 27s 9d, sellers holding for 28s. Waihi-Paeroas were quoted with sellers at 50s and buyers at 455.
