WAITEMATA LICENSING ; COM- 1 . v MITTEE. A MEETING of the TTaitemata Licensing Committee was held in the Municipal Chambers, Devonport,; yesterday, Mr. E. O. Cutfren, S.M., presiding. There were also present: Messrs. R. 11. Duder, A. Alison, 'G. E. White, and J. C. Maoky. SubInspector Hendrey was present representing the Police Department. ; Transfers' were granted as follows Hotel, W. J. ,Bray to H.> W. Elliott; iforthcote Hotel, D. Holford to Arthur • Whitehead. A police report waa received regardingl the' conduct of the Moaonio Hotel, Devonport. This stated that the house is beinjy conducted in a very loose manner, and that charges of permitting drunkenness on the premises and threatening behaviour were pending against the licensee (K. A. Bragato).
