EARLY SCHOOL HOUR.

Sir, —I think it is high time w<j returned to the old school hours, as tho present ones are a distinct failure. They may bo all light for th© teachers, but where there is a family, ami no help- kent it is » terrible business. By the time i ha.to given my husband and oldest son their breakfast-, and cut their lunches, and got them off to work, j it is just impossible to wash and dress three jor four small children, give them their breakfast, cut their dinners, and got them off in time to reach school. When there is ,bolp kept, of course, it is different but I think that working women ought to get a little consideration- And now I hear that there is a movement to make the winter hours begin at nine, which of course means that | the last bell rings at a-quarter to. Hoping that the old hours will bo started again I now that the now ones lw c proved such a j failure. Mother. j
