The weather was doll in the morning, but the attendance was not affected. There were 55. entrants in the jumping events, which were a feature of the show. In • the cattle exhibits most of the prizes, were won by Mr. B. Short ? (Feilding), with purebred Hereford stook, incladiuff bis chamwion. bull Eton Chancellor. Mr. Short won, the ; association's trophy, valued at £10 ' , 10s. for most points in .Hereford's, end will bold the same for a year. Mr. A. ■B. Tanning's" Shorthorn exhibits were awarded all the prizes in 'that class, fend : in purebred Eomney sheep the same exhibitor was most successful.
