His Excei,lency the Governor (Lord Islington) was present at the conversazione at the Town Hall last evening, accompanied by Colonel Boscawen, hon. A.D.C., and Captain MacDougnU, A.D.C. Lord Islington, in company with Colonel Boscawen and Captain MacDougall, will leave by motor car this morning for Motutara, the Hon. E. Mitchelson's homo on the West Coast. • . His Excellency will return to Auckland on Monday, and will attend the civic reception to Sir John Kirk in the morning, and will jJso bo present at the reunion of old fcolonijts in the Town Hall.
