The. vessel is en routo-fioin London to Auckland, and should arrive hero about December 11. ■' AUSTRALIAN MAIL LINE. The. local agents for the Australian • Mail Lino (J. a Spedding) are advised that the steamer Croydon has been fixed to leave San Francisco tomorrow tor Island ports and Auckland.- She will bo followed by .the steamer- Benrik Ibsen, which is to leave the California port on December 21. The Croydon should put in tin appearance here about December 24 and tho Herirtk. Ibsen about i January 24. Tho steamer Stratbardle, duo at Auckland from San Francisco and-Island porta on December 4, has on board 1300 tons of cargo for Auckland and other New Zealand ports. \i NEW STEAMER OPOURI. A cabin message has been received announcing the departure from London of the now steamer Opouri for Lvttelton. The vessel was launched at Paisley on Oeiobcr 10 for Messrs. Reese Brothers, *of Christchureh The Opouri is a single-screw steamer, built of steel, having a deadweight: of from 700 to 800 tons, on a draught of lift Sin. She is intended chiefly- for the trade between Greymouth, Nvdia Bay, and Lyttelton, carrying timber for the Marlborough Timber Company. Sho will bo capable of carrying 850,000f-. of timber. Tho Opouri will call .it Sydney en route to Lvttelton. Captain Schuir.c. late of tho barquentine Lady Isabel, will bring the vessel to the Dominion. THE VANCOUVER SERVICE. The It.M.S. Zealandia cleared for Sydney direct at 4.40 p.m. yesterday. She is due at the gew South Wales port on Sunday morning. The Zealandia is timed to leave Sydney again for Auckland on Monday, December 18. arriving here on Friday. December 22, and sailing the same day for Vancouver, via ports. The R.M.S. Mikuro. is duo at Auckland from Sydney early to-morrow morning. After medical inspection has been carried out, she berths at, the outer western tee of the Queen-street Wharf, where outward passengers, stores, mails, and coal will bo' taken oa hoard. The Makura is timed 10 sail at 2 p.m. to-morrow for Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu, the vessel being due at the Canadian port on Tuesday, December 12. .' The It.M.S. Marama is scheduled to sail from Vancouver for Honolulu. Suva, Auckland, and Sydney on Wednesday, November 20- She is due at Honolulu on December 6, Suva on December 15, Auckland on December 19, and Sydney on December 23. _____
