To call a Brandy better than Maxell's is an empty boast; to beat it for quality an impossibility. Thero are no better judges of a real good thing than Britons all the world over, and that is why they have made Martell's first favourite. The Rev. R. B. S. Hammond, who :a conducting a no-license campaign in Auckland, under the auspices of the New Zedland Alliance, addressed a large meeting of electors in the Oddfellows' Hall, Parnell, last evening, and received a good hearing, his remarks being listened to with keen attention. ~.-.'
