WAIHI PIGEON CLUB.

Waihi, Monday. THE second race of the Waihi Homing Pigeon Club was held on Saturday from To Kuiti, tho distance being 63J miles. A strong westerly wind was blowing, but the birds made good tune, covering tho distance in rather over an hour ami a-half Mr F Russell's White Throat was first, in lh' 31m.'525., covering 1238.06 yds per minute. Mr. B. Scott's Otarooetol was second, velocity 1237 05yds; and Mr. C. Darby's Blue Bell third, velocity 1234.92yd5. In all, 54 birds were liberated.
