BUSINESS DONE SATURDAY.

The sharemarket was quiet on Saturday. In mining lines Waihis were slightlyeasier, selling at from 66s 6d to 66s 9d to 66s 6d, and leaving further buyers at 66s 3d, sellers at 66s 9d. Grand. Junctions, on the other hand, showed a slight improvement, being dealt in at 345, the closing quotations being buyers 345, sellers 34s 3d. Business was done in Talismans at 51s, after which buyers quoted 50s 9d, sellers 51s 3d.
