ANGLO-JAP. TREATY.
DEFENCE LEAGUE'S WARNING
By Telegraph.— Association.—
Sydney, September 7. The annual report of the National Defence League utters a warning against placing too much reliance on the AngloJapanese treaty. The treaty, it says, is as easily broken as made. It has not the effect of a general arbitration treaty, and can be depended on only for what it ©x* pressly applies to.
