ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
[BT TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] //- Waihi, Monday. A bttshman named Peter Peterson, about 60, years of age, residing in Waihi South, --attempted to commit suicide by cutting his throat with a razor at about five o'clock - yesterday afternoon. Peterson is said to .. have been on a drinking bout at the Thames, and to have become despondent V - owing to the fact of his being out of work.
