ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER.
ACCUSED ACQUITTED.
[bt telegraph.—press association.] Invejicabgha, Wednesday. The Supreme Court was again occupied all day in hearing the manslaughter charge against Ernest William Challis, driver of a taxicab, arising out of the death of Arthur William Mitchell, as a result of a collision with the taxi. The jury, after 3£ hours' retirement, returned with a verdict of not guilty.
