WIRELESS STATION AT TAVIUNI. The Pacific Cable Board advise that a wireless station has been established at Taviuni, Fiji, in communication with the wireless station at Suva. Prometheus, -.which" was then in the Banks Group, re.porting the loss of the French auxiliary schooner St. Michel, of 103 tons. The vessel, it appears, look fife in the Ken- Hebrides, and was burnt to the water's edge. As no mention was made of the crew, it is presumed all ore safe. The cruiser asked that the message should he forwarded on to the "Governor of Fiji. The St. Michel was a well-known Island schooner trading in the New Hebrides. She hailed from Noumea, where she was owned by .Messrs. Holland anil Son.
