WAS THERE FOUL PLAY?
A WOMAN'S SKELETON.
A skeleton found in an open cut of lie Oroya-Brown Hill, near Kalgoorlie, on June 2 is supposed by the detectives, to be the remains of Annie Solly, or Holey, a well-known Melbourne barmaid, who disappeared two and a half years ago. Holey was dressed in a costume similar to that found on the skeleton, when last seen. A shoo on the skeleton was identified by a friend as similar to the pattern worn by her.
