NEW WARD OPENED. fur TELEGRAPH.— PKESS ASSOCIATION.] CinusTCHCRCii, Thursday. T.UK Hon. C. Fowlds (Minister for Education) this afternoon opened a new children's and women's ward at tho Christchurch Hospital. The building cost nearly £20,000, of which amount £4536 was collected by ladies, and obtained the Government subsidy of 24s per £.
