TRAMWAY APPEAL.
A CONDUCTOR'S DISMISSAL.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. The Tramway Appeal Board sat to-day to hear an appeal by John James Ward, ■sx-tramway conductor, against his dismissal. The Board dismissed the appeal. They held that the appellant's aonesty was unquestioned, but that, though individually the charges might appear trivial, when taken collectively they showed the appellant to be unfit for the position from which he had been dismissed. The Board recommended the tramways engineer to find cither employBent for Ward, if possible.
