LARGE MEETING AT TE KUITI,

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] Tk Kititt, Wednesday. Mil. llazlktox. Irish envoy, addressed a large meeting last, evening, presided over by the Mayor (Mr. J. Boddie). A resolution was carried in favour of national self-government for Ireland. The .To Kuili borough and district contributed £60 towards the funds. Mr. Ilazleton. accompanied by Mr. .1. I!. Landon, visited tho Waitomo Caves yesterday, and was much impressed with their beauty.

A number of Taumarunui residents left yesterday by tho afternoon goods train for To Kuiti to hoar the Irish envoys speak at that town. The visitors were, however, very kindly received by the Mayor'(.Mr. Boddie) and the chairman of tho County Council (Mr. Scoles), and met, .Mr. llazleton before they returned by the early morning express.

Messrs. Redmond and Donovan, two of (he Irish envoys who aro visiting New Zealand, left Auckland for Wellington by the Main Trunk express last night.
