Five sections of land in the Auckland land district were disposed of by ballot at the Crown Lands Office yesterday. The ballot resulted as follows :—Section 1, Block V., Omapere, F. Batson, Okaihau; section 2, Block V., Omapere, D. Talbot, Auckland'; section 8, Block V., Waitoa, W. McKay, Shannon; section 97, Komakorau parish, Waikato, E. James. At the meeting of the Lands Board yesterday it was resolved to open the following lands for selection in three months' time :—
