Clothier) of the North Canterbury Provincial Executivo of the Farmers' Union to-day forwarded tho following cable messages, replies to which are expected to-morrow:—-

At a largo and influential public meeting of pro-, ducers, held in Canterbury yesterday, under the auspices of tho North Canterbury Farmers' Union, the meeting unanimously adopted tho resolution already cabled you by the Napier producers.
