MINERS' UNION REGISTRATION
SECOND BALLOT AT WAIHI
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Waihi, Thursday. The taking of a. second ballot of members of the Waihi Miners and Workers' Union on the question of cancelling the union's registration under the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, will, be commenced on Monday next, and will extend over a period of two weeks. The ballot box will be placed in turn at the various mine shafts, commencing with the Waihi Gold Mining Company's No. 2 shaft, the idea being .to get the whole of the union - members to record their votes.
