NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ordinary General Meeting of the NEW ZEALAND INSURANCE COMPANY, LIMITED, will be held at the Registered Office of the Company, 107, Queen-street, Auckland, on WEDNESDAY, the Bth day of February, 1911, at 2.30 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of receiving the Directors' Report and Balancesheet for the 12 months ended November 30, 1910; for the election of three Directors in the room of Messrs. R. C. Carr, C. V. Houghton, and Arthur M. Myers, who retire by rotation, hut are eligible, and who offer themselves for re-election; for the election of two Auditors, and to transact the ordinary business of the Company. (g) To promote any limited company or com"panies for the purpose of acquiring all or any of the property and liabilities of this Company or of any. company or'firm carrying on a like business or for any other purpose which may seem calculated, directly or indirectly, to benefit this Company. (h) To establish subsidies or aid any institution, association, clubs, and conveniences for the benefit of the Company's employees or ex-employees, and to grant money for these purposes or any of them. • And that the Directors be and they are hereby authorised to apply to the Court to confirm this Resolution under The Companies Act, 1905."
