EIGHT CHINESE KILLED.

Pekin, January 23. Riots occurred at Hankow, owing to the belief that the British police had killed a coolie.
The British gunboat Thistle and the German gunboat Jaguar landed bluejackets, and volunteers were also called out.
The mob stoned the attacking force.
. The Viceroy sent native troops to the assistance of the Europeans, and in the fighting that . ensued eight. Chinese were killed.
