Pekin, December 31. The Throne ' has rejected the memorial presented by the National Assembly, requesting that all diplomatists, officers, students, soldiers, and sailors be ordered to remove their queues, which were stigmatised as pigtails, commemorating the subjection of the nation by the Manchus.
