POLICE COURT NEWS.
Saturday's sitting of the Police Court was presided over by Messrs. C. Bagley . and E. Bond, J.P.'s. On charges of drunkenness, William Francis Gillies \v*-» lined £1, or seven jays, one first offender forfeited his bail, and another first offender was convicted and discharged. The charges George McC'arter and , Harry Boys, cf being drunk and procuring liquor while prohibited, were adjourned till Wednesday. For committing an indecent act in Queen-street Edward Lynsky. was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment.'
