TIMARU HARBOUR.
NEW WHARF OPENED. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.] Timaru, Friday. An important development in the shipping facilities here was marked to-day, when the new wharf with berthage capacity for four vessels, and costing £21,000, was used for the first time. The ships in the harbour were gay with bunting, and the chairman of the Harbour Board entertained all the captains in port in honour of the occasion.
