NEXT MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
LABOUR CANDIDATES.
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Friday. The General Labourers' Union, at its annual conference to-day, passed a resolution in favour of contesting in the Labour interest the coming municipal elections in the Wellington district. The. chief towns included, are Wellington City, Petone, Hutt, Carterton, Mastcrton, Napier, Palmerston North, and Wanganui. The conference,. which has been discussing matters of a routine nature connected with union administration and organisation, will probably, close this evening.
