RESTRICTIVE LEGISLATION. OFFENSIVE RACIAL BARS. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— (Received. November 17. 11.50 p.m.) \ London, November 17. ' The All-India Moslem League has l appealed to the Secretary of State , for the Colonies not to countenance ' any South African law making the repatriation of Indian immigrants ; compulsory on the .expiry of their indentures. Regarding Australia and New Zealand the league says that while complete freedom in immigration is beyond the scope of practical politics the removal of an offensive racial - bar is essential. To grant passports would do little to mitigate the bitterness. The league suggests that the. matter be referred to the Imperial Conference, at which the Indian representation should be more ample/and include natives.. :
